March 15th Webinar: Teaching Old Dogs New Tricks...A Continuing Update on the NEW RCRA Generator Rules

Marketing Department

The long awaited Comprehensive Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule was final as of October 28, 2016, published in the Federal Register November 28, 2016, and becomes effective May 30, 2017. This is where the “rubber meets the road” as we continue to get clarity on how rules will change our EH&S waste management strategy.

Often it isn’t how good your environmental compliance programs are, but how ready and willing your organization is to embrace change. Especially when you consider it has been since 1981 that generator rules were first enacted. That’s 36 years doing things one way!! And we all know the old saying, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks”.

This webinar will discuss the background leading up to these changes, and how they will affect your facility. We will discuss issues like strengthened classification of waste streams, re-notification of generator status, new labeling requirements, episodic generation changes, satellite storage closure, and much more. Most importantly we’ll discuss strategies to keep your facility ahead of the game.
