If you’ve worked in an industrial setting long enough, odds are you’ve heard the phrase “TRI” or “Form R.” However, you may not know how it affects your facility. TRI reports, also known as the Toxic Release Inventory, are a federal requirement for facilities to disclose to the EPA (and public) how their waste to land, air, and water is managed. The process, though sometimes long and particularly convoluted, doesn’t have to be a big deal.
