What is TRI Reporting and why is it important?

Thursday, May 31, 2012 by August Mack Ohio Office

The 2011 Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Report is due on July 1st.   This report provides the not only the EPA with information on the releases and other waste management of EPCRA Section 313 chemicals, but it is also available to the public to inform them what is happening in their communities.

If your facility manufactures, processes, or otherwise uses a EPCRA Section 313 chemical over a certain threshold, your facility must complete either a Form R or Form A.  Do you know if your facility needs to submit a Form R or Form A?  Need help determining if your facility is over the threshold?   Our Environmental Compliance Consultants can help!  Contact us at 614-798-9922 for further environmental compliance assistance.
