INDIANAPOLIS - January 20, 2012 - August Mack Environmental, Inc. (August Mack), a full-service environmental, health and safety (EH&S) consulting firm, is pleased to announce being named the winner of the carbon savings challenge in the business category of the 1st & Green Challenge. The August Mack team, comprised of 26 employees, helped to offset 20,767 units of carbon and saved 42,672 gallons of water. The 1st & Green Challenge was an initiative of the 2012 Indianapolis Host Committee to encourage widespread sustainability efforts by individuals and groups throughout Indiana.
