Owners and operators of USTs are responsible for keeping them up to state and EPA environmental compliance. This means taking measures to properly maintain USTs as well as detecting leaks. USTs are required to have leak detection systems so that leaks are caught early and do not spread. Are your USTs properly monitored and maintained? It is much easier and less expensive to prevent a leak than to have to clean one up!
