Environmental Due Diligence & Risk Management

This year I have the privilege of having been elected a national delegate for the Indiana Chapter of CREW (indycrew.org/)! I get to go to two delegate leadership conferences and then our big national convention in the fall.  

I just got back from my first CREW National experience, the Winter Leadership Conference, hosted by our Albuquerque, New Mexico Chapter.  Although this is not directly related to my normal day-to-day environmental consulting and Phase One Site Assessment gig, it provided a great networking opportunity with women from all over the U.S. and Canada in all fields of commercial real estate.  

I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by about 150 amazing professional women all working towards the common goal of influencing the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women. 

We completed leadership assessments and worked on group scenarios based on our results.  We networked, had amazing food and even better company, but the largest goal of these meetings is to obtain any new information from national to take back to our individual chapters.

I can say with extreme confidence that I truly grateful that my chapter chose me to represent them and I can't wait for the summer conference in Montreal!
