Mississippi River Flood Raises Threat of Mold

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 by Cassie Anderson
The rain seemed like it would be endless last week in Indiana, but it's nothing compared to the recent Mississippi River floods.  The flood devastated hundreds of homes and thousands of acres of farmland. As residents slowly make their way back to their property to assess and rebuild their lives, yet another consideration that may be looming is mold.  The Center for Disease Control offers Mold Presentation Strategies following hurricanes and major flood events:  www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/rr5508a1.htm

Our best to all of those effected by this tragic event.
