So, you want a REAL definition...not one I just made up, right?

Ok then...here it is...

An Environmental Professional (as defined by the ASTM for the purpose of performing an AAI Phase One Environmental Site Assessment) is "a person meeting the education, training, and experience requirements as set forth..."
 

 

Professional/Educational Qualifications

Relevant

Experience

PE or PG license/registration

3 years

Federal or state license/certification to perform environmental inquiries

3 years

B.A./B.S. degree or higher in relevant discipline (engineering, environmental science or earth science)

5 years

B.A./B.S. degree or higher (grandfather clause)

10 years
