The wanted list contains the names, vital statistics, mug shots and violations of 21 people on the run from justice for allegedly participating in environmental crimes. The crimes range from smuggling banned pollutants to illegally dumping hazardous waste. Examples of violations are listed below:

- Illegally discharging hazardous substances into navigable waters of the U.S.
- Illegally dumping waste oil (Cruise Ships)
- Illegally transporting and disposing of mercury-contaminated soil
- Fraudulent asbestos training certificates
- Discharging oil-contaminated grain into the ocean
- Illegal asbestos removal and disposal Illegal transporting hazardous materials aboard commercial aircraft. (VALUJET flight 592 – resulting in 110 deaths)
