The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) issues air permits to regulate facilities based on their potential to emit of criteria and hazardous air pollutants. In this presentation, we will identify what is considered to be a criteria and a hazardous air pollutant; determine how to calculate your potential to emit; discuss the differences between types of air permits issued by IDEM as well as highlight some of the typical air permit compliance requirements.
