Approval and Promulgation of Air Quality Implementation Plans: Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana
EPA has determined that the tri-state Cincinnati-Hamilton, Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana, fine particulate (PM2.5) nonattainment Area has attained the 1997 annual average PM2.5 national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) and additionally, that the Area has attained the 1997 annual PM2.5 NAAQS by its applicable attainment date of April 5, 2010.
Drinking Water Quality in Schools
EPA estimates that about 10,000
schools and child care facilities maintain their own water supply
and are regulated under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). But
there are over 500,000 facilities that are not regulated under
SDWA, and therefore may or may not be conducting voluntary drinking
