The Office of Pollution Prevention and Compliance Assistance (OPPCA) is responsible for reviewing proposed P2 projects. Applicants can select their lender-of-choice (e.g., bank or credit union) who is responsible for reviewing the applicant's credit worthiness and managing the loan. Simultaneously, the applicant can submit their proposed project to OPPCA to verify that pollution prevention occurs at the site. Once approved by OPPCA, the business then finalizes the loan with their lender.
